Welcome,

My name is Chris, and I’m an Industrial Designer.

The field of industrial design is an interesting space where the practical function and the aesthetic form of products are leveled against complex problem solving and creative thinking. My work takes full advantage of the multi-faceted nature of the field and results in interesting and compelling designs where I work to inspire and engage the audience in fields where Design is traditionally under-represented.

From safety products, to electrical infrastructure, my career is focussed on bringing the value of design to the significantly important — albeit less visible — products that support modern society. In fields where the stakes are high, design transitions from being a marketing tool, to being a force for change, innovation, and impact.

I invite you to join me as I explore how Industrial Design can shape critical experiences, support powerful innovation, and elevate interactions in the products that operate in high-stakes fields.

Notes on my portfolio content

Having been on both sides of the design hiring process, I know the question inevitably arises: “What were your contributions to this project?” Or more directly, “Did you draw, render, or prototype that?”

While bringing any product to life is a team effort, I take pride in my craft and the work I personally contribute. As a general rule, the work shown in my portfolio represents content I’ve directly sketched, rendered, prototyped, illustrated, photographed, wire-framed, or otherwise crafted with intention and care.
